SCYCA won all the three SCYCL home games by winning SCCAY at Centennial Regional Park on 10/20/2018. SCYCA top order dominated and took SCYCA home or posted challenging scores on board in these games, backed by formidable bowling attack to win all home games. SCYCA will travel to Los Angeles and San Diego for away games having qualified for SCYCA U-14 finals.

SCYCA won the first match against SDCCYA by ten wickets having demolished SDCCYA for 29 in ten overs. They beat WTCC by 35 runs. Beat the oldest academy in Southern California, SCCAY by 6 wickets.
It was the bowling attack of SCYCA that dismantled the SCCAY batting lineup last Saturday, initiated by Danyal giving SCYCA a break through early consistently. Rayaan bowled economically, and spinners Pranav and Nemitha did some exceptional work in middle overs restricting SCCAY under 100 runs. In the fightback, SCCAY got SCYCA openers cheaply, but the rest of top and middle order took SCYCA home convincingly. (Rayaan 42* / 36 balls, Tharuk 11* / 14 balls, Harika 10 / 36 balls). The game was captained, and vice captained by two girls, Gargi and Harika respectively
