On Sunday 7th October, members of the Orange County Cricket Association (OCCA) and Southern California Youth Cricket Academy (SCYCA) gathered for the annual award night at Godavari Restaurant in Lake Forest, CA. OCCA was founded in 2007 and youth program SCYCA was started in 2014.  

About 100 players (adult & youth), officials, parents, and friends were in attendance to recognize individual performances and the progress of both organizations service Orange County, California and neighboring counties.

Awards were presented to best performers in 2018 at the ceremony. Following youth players were recognized at the event;

·         Scoring a century – Andrew Daluwatta

·         Scoring a half century – Rayaan Bhagani

·         Taking 3 / 4 wickets in a game –  Danyal Bhagani, Pranav Reddy Pagydyala, Andrew Daluwatta, Harika Amineni, Nemitha Dassanayaka, Abhinav Amineni
