SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA YOUTH CRICKET LEAGUE U-15 2017 GETS UNDER WAY

Southern California Youth Cricket League (SCYCL) 2017 that provides exposure, excitement and experience to southern California youth cricket, as the 2nd edition got under way on October 29th, 2017.


Top youth cricketers across three cricket Academies / Associations in southern California will share the skill, understanding, friendship from October through December and play competitive cricket under SCYCL 2017 U-15 trophy.


Every season brings with new challenges. Skill set of youth players have increased since last year and they are maturing fast, becoming better by each game / season.


Three matches have already been played out of six preliminary round matches. SCYCL 2016 U-14, defending champions, SCYCA recorded two convincing wins from home and away games against San Diego Cricket Club Youth Association (SDCCYA) and lost to Southern California Cricket Association Youth (SCCAY) on 11/26/2017.  Two crucial matches will be held December 2nd and 3rd weekend where SDCCYA will face SCCAY for a must win game to qualify for finals.


Andrew Daluwatte scored first century of the tournament and Trishul Manoj was on 98* for 2nd wicket record partnership.
