SCYCA won the toss and elected to bat first. Opener Sevitha got out cheaply, but all other top order batsmen reached double figures keeping a healthy run rate. SCYCA posted a challenging total of 124 runs at the end of allocated 30 overs.

WTCC took the back seat losing two early wickets claimed by SCYCA opening bowlers Danyal and Rishi (one each) who bowled good line and length. Although Ronty and Mohammad build a good partnership in middle overs, runs were hard to come by with introduction of spin attack. Harika bowled an excellent spell and claimed 4 wickets / 17 runs, while Pranav bowled a very economical spell from the other end.
