Southern California Cricket Association Youth (SCCAY) pulled off a convincing win and lift the SCYCL – 2017 U-15 trophy beating defending champions SCYCA at Smith Murphy Park on December 17, 2017.

Batting first SCCAY scored commanding 180 runs batting throughout 30 overs and losing only 5 wickets. SCCAY top order batted to full potential, Arjun Menon reaching his half century (62 runs in 57 balls).

SCYCA lost the opening batsmen cheaply.  In-form batsman Trishul could not find his form, only Andrew played a captain’s innings (77 runs in 90 balls). SCYCA registered only 118 runs at the end of 30^th over losing 3 wickets.
